I don't see why not. In a dream you don't use your real eyes so technically even a completely blind person could see in a dream. |

I am strabismic - I have a slight squint and very rarely manage to see in stereo (except in 3D movies). I was wondering if people with normal vision "see" in stereo in dreams. I don't just mean judge depth. Using parallax I have reasonable distance perception - can drive well but I cant easily catch a ball or dodge a punch. But seeing in stereo is different -- almost as different as colour and monochrome. Do normal people see in stereo in dreams? Has anyone done a test on this while lucid dreaming. |

"Don't kill me. I'm in a dream right now, and if you kill me I'll die in real life too!" -Me, age 5-8, talking to a dinosaur.
You should be able to see in 3D in your dreams. It could depend on whether or not you've been strabismic your whole life. For example, even though it is completely possible for a blind person to see in their dreams, this is only possible if they weren't blind at birth. It depends on how much they were able to see before they went blind. |

I asked Sue Barry on her blog. She confirms she can now dream in 3D but when she was stereoblind she could not. So I will look forward to doing tests in lucid dreams. |
