How do I find a soulmate?

I'm looking for a girl who is into the same stuff like lucid dreaming, astral projecting, metaphysics and crazy stuff. Is there any place where I could find someone like that?
      There should be DreamViews dating.
I wish I could stay in a lucid dream forever

      Haha, spart.

But from most everyone I have talked to with some real love life experience the best relationships usually come when you aren't actively looking for them: but instead when you are just open toward them. I don't count myself among the romantically experienced- I haven't had an adult relationship before and whatever happened in high school I don't count as serious, really.

You'll most likely trip over her where you least expect it. At least that's my experience.

My girlfriend and I, somewhat ironically, found each other right here on DV.

MOS has also experienced what I guessed, that 'looking' for a soul mate actively is not your best bet. So, based on MOS testimony and how he found his girlfriend, write stories where the girl you like is your maid and then post them on the internet and you guys will get together soon enough.

I suggest starting with chloroform, some thick rope, and a moderately sized closet.

Then it's a simple matter of process of elimination to see which girls the brainwashing takes hold on and which ones are likely to press charges. You know what to do with the latter.

Soul means, sometimes, will, what you do. What do you want to do with someone. This means the ability to plan one's life out, or at least the general form of it, and stick to it. I did that, and accomplished a great deal of what I set out to do, however, never found a soul mate.

Secondly, of the two psychological types of humans, one of them is incapable of love, and the other is very very rare.
However, most substitue desire for love, they believe that they are the same, when they are not. It is complicated, however, if you know what you are, you would not have to ask the question.

That's some of the worst philosophical bullshit I've ever heard. Work on your phrasing in order to better expound upon your ideas. And work on your ideas themselves. Because I did not get the first paragraph, and the second is just ridiculous.

Well, there are some people, I believe, that are capable of understanding the two concepts of absolute and relative. There are only two primitive abstractions possible, learning how to use them, and follow them is an art which you seem to dispise.

appearance is to relative is to material difference is to no standard is to subjective.
      as
reality is to absolute is to identity is to a standard is to objective.

You have a lot of time to figure it out. However, as long as you do not even see a hint as to how first principles affect your understanding, your wasting your time. I have always believed that as long as someone wants something bad enough, they will learn what it takes to understand their problem. I see you are not at that point yet.

As long as you cannot distinguish apperance from reality, the subjective from the objective, you will never have in your own soul the standard by which to even see your soul mate--all you will ever see is a reflection of yourself--the appearance most pleasing to you.

Now, if you still do not understand the philosophical bullshit, perhaps you are a student of History. Civilization became possible, and advanced through standards. Standards in language, belief, commerce, etc., I hope you are not too dim to see that there have been a few in history who have extrapolated the idea to standards in human psychology. This implies that that standard does not yet exist. I have simply claimed that even on a personal level of civil discourse, even one's mate, is achieved by that very same path.

The only bullshit here, is not between my ears. The very phrase soul-mate is the implication of a standard in human psychology--and you, it appears, can not even understand simple grammar. And so, there is a whole life of "seeking the light and walking in the light" that is ahead of us all, if, as I too believe, a soul-mate is worth devoting one's life to finding--by removing the beam from our own eye first.

Ah, okay. The second post was more clear than the first. To be honest, though, I would rather be able to come into the lounge and just read conversational/easy to read posts. I expect a bit of depth in ED. Not so much in the lounge. But to each his own method of expression, I suppose.

Stop looking, then both do something spontanious to lead you to the person (which you do not realise). Probably online. Then make sure they're depressed, make their day *month, week, ('s)*. And then hit it off like peanut butter and jelly, then admit your love for eachother... Simple enough. Oh, wait that was just my story... ^^
Overall, you don't 'find' a soulmate, you stumble across one such person on a bad day. ^^

Crap. This takes all the fun out of crafting one's life--which means being without a soul to begin with. I suppose that 0 + 0 = 0.

Closing one's eyes to make a trip is NORMAL.

As for anything one desires in life, you must impose your will upon the reality around you to make it happen.

We cannot solve your problem. You must do so by yourself, if you are to earn anything.

Sure, if you are looking for a rock, or a ball of wax. However, a woman is a sentient being who, as mind, has the same definition as a man--to effect her own will in order to maintain and promote her existence. The idea of imposing one's will on another sentient being, is frankly unthinkable. It is, by definition, a form of murder.

The best one can do is share their vision of what they wish to accomplish in their life. Mine has simply been to have and raise a family, while working on understanding, providing free educational material etc. Needless to say, an intellectual life is not very appealing to most humans in general.

From the start, one must know what will is, and how one can fuck the hell out of their life with undisciplined emotion. Frankly, emotion can be trained such that it is easy to fall deeply in love with the one they are with--but that cannot be done with violating that person as a living, sentient being.

Or, since ever shoe has a sole, by matching shoes.

I was not talking about coercing another like minded individual into a false relationship.

Dont worry about it. Just my theory, I've been married 4 times-but never met anyone I could share an intellectual life with. Girls like me, but they eventually find out I am not their "bag."--just another soft touch. As long as I stay shallow with people, they like me. I just took what I could get and tried to make the best of it. No choices really.

Ever met anyone who saw real beauty in ideas? I am a workahoilic when it comes to ideas.

Take my current concern. I discovered how to multiply and divide one line against another in geometry. Never been done before, it seems. I showed it to my boy's principle-a live Sketchpad document, by way of conversation (I travel with my notebook) just another adventure of looking at a cow watching a passing train. But think of it, the beauty of actually constructing working figures and being able to wirte equations with them, like I did in the Delian Quest--a book teaching how it is done. I think it would be beautiful, if I can pull it off.
