Cyclists who ride in the street...

I have absolutely no problemo riding in a bike path but I live in the dirty south and "there aint none them damn bike paths round here" to use the local dialect. Also there are roads with no sidewalks so I dont have a choice sometimes.

Yes unfortunately some cyclists fuck it up for everyone. But dude wear a helmet it doesn't matter what your friends say, protect that brain. Take it from someone who has gotten nailed by a car twice, wear a goddamn helmet.

Interestingly I left out from my post that I've been whacked by a car twice. Both times I landed on my helmet

But it does annoy me that there's this whole thing about helmets looking stupid. I just don't understand it.

Ya but whatever I don't mind it so much, people can eat a dick. If people are self-conscious about helmets then that's their problem, I for one am not going to get my brains scrambled on the sidewalk just because I want people I will never meet, to see me looking cool on my rad bike. Btw do you mess around with freak bikes?

I agree. However, my bike is less rad. I'm afraid I don't mess around with freak bikes; I just ride my bike to and from school.
