      Fantasy or LD book tips?

Hey, I haven't been reading books for like 4 years. And at that time, I was reading the Harry Potter books and just a couple of random books.

Now I'd some thoughts of start read some book at evening/night an hour before bed (it will help me to do something else than being on the computer right before bed, as I read that it may be better to not be on computer right before bed?).

I like fantasy, adventure and thriller. But mostly fantasy.

I wonder if somebody got any tips?
Is there any interesting book about lucid dreaming?
I would not like to read about something superboring that maybe explains everything about LD in a boring way etc.
Looking mostly for books that got a story.

Any book like harry potter, but instead of magic, it's about lucid dreaming or something similar? like, another world or so? Where it may be adverturing in and thrilling/exciting.

      Tips anybody?

There are great sci fi books by peter f hamilton. The first two books are called "the commonwealth saga" set in 2400 in our unniverse. A thousand years later the "void trilogy" is set. The dreaming void is the first in the series nad its excellent The Dreaming Void - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia .
Another series is the "wheel of time" an epic fantasy series which deals with a dream world.

Read the Inheritance Series, unless you don't like reading big books, first one is around 500 pages and the others get longer. First book is called Eragon. (The movie sucked)

Thanks, I'll have a look at them.
But something I always hated, is very old stories somehow, with horsemans and wars etc. And also sci-fi with too much stuffs, like starwars I never liked. Only great ones I got in my head is Harry P and Narnia, most others I've disliked :S

Well, the Eragon my old classmate was reading.. and he like Jazz (and I hate it). He also had bought me a book for my birthday, like 8 years ago. It was some weird book about 2 kids fighting with swords etc.. It was not good at all.
That makes me also feeling that Eragon wont be for me.

But I been fascinated about dragons before though.

I will read about them on wiki and see if library or ebay have any of the books named

The Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny, it's one of the greatest fantasy books out there.. I think Zelazny must have been a lucid dreamer, the way he describes travelling between worlds

Oh, the Pendragon series is pretty good. He travels between 10 (actually 7 because he goes to past and future of Earth and another worlds future) worlds.

You may want to look at "Song in the Silence" by Elizabeth Kerner. It deals with dragons and though it may be set in the older times, there's no sword fighting or anything of that. It was one of my childhood books and I just rediscovered it and fell in love with it all over again. She also has two more books following the story that I have not read yet, but have no doubt they are amazing. I love the way she writes as well. The one you'll need to get is the cover with the female character standing next to the silver dragon. The other cover is a young adults version.

P.S. I am a dragon lover, too. Go dragons!
