when you're not really doing anything, like maybe driving or waiting on something, do you think about things? "let your mind wander?!?!...!!.!?" this is more directed at guys because...all the guys i ask say no, they don't think. wtf. how can you not think of anything? i mean it takes alot of effort to totally clear your mind...are they really thinking about stuff and they just aren't aware of it? WHAT?

well my body goes on auto-pilot and my mind wanders. i think about the future... stuff that has to be done soon. i also just think of what i'm seeing at the time. i've give you a transcript of what i might be thinking of while driving on my way to work. [thoughts] "it's late in the evening she's wondering what clothes to wear she puts on her make up and brushes her long blonde hair and then she asks me do i look alright and i say yes, you look wonderful tonight" BIRD! BIRD! BIRD! i wonder what's for dinner tonight? chicken? how am i going to buy chicken when i don't have money? SLOW DRIVER! DIE SLOW PERSON! LEARN TO DRIVE F*CKER! !@$!@^%!^#!@#!%!^%!^#!$!%$!! grrr i wonder what erin is doing now. [/thoughts] that's about it... nothing too complex

I would have to say that the usual answer to that type of question is no because there are to many things going on in a persons head at one time that they usually can't or wont pin-point one thought. Also I know sometimes I am thinking about things and I don't really realize it so when asked, "What are you thinking?" I say nothing because... well I'm like "Shit what WAS I thinking?" Um yeah that didn't make much sense. My mind never stops. Have any of you ever been driving to work on autopilot? Where you were so deep in thought as you were driving that you didn't remember actually getting there? That is really weird!!!

That is really weird!!! i'm ALWAYS thinking and i can ALWAYS recall what i was thinking. if someone asks and i reply "nothing", it's only because i don't want to tell them. hehe. someone actually asked me today, i appeared to be deep in thought in the passengers side of the car...my answer was "things reversed on the front of vehicles, so that you can see them in your rear-view mirror. and roadsigns, how there is only something on one side...what if the same was on the back of the sign, and you could see it from the rear-view mirror?" i feel like an idiot sharing that now, but my thoughts usually aren't that weird. however at times when i'm bored, i do think of plently of random and pointless things like that. my point is, i'm always thinking and can always recall my thoughts at any given time, and i cannot imagine not being able to.
