After trying many tablets and eReaders, I selected the Asus Slider SL-101. This one works best for me because it slides open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, and it supports a USB mouse. I have a hard time typing more than a few words on a touch-screen keyboard, so having a real keyboard was a major buying point for me. ...not to mention that it saves a lot of smudges on the screen. |

that tablet actually looks cool and it's pragmatic with the included keyboard, I hope I find one in the stores, thanks |

MDMA has always given me a good user experience, check it out. |

I would recommend iPad 2 over iPad mini if you can afford it. For the uses you are describing having larger screen size is better. Although personally, I once read the Count of Monte Christo as an eBook on my iPhone, and that's one honking big book, and I had no trouble with it, but that might be just me. I actually use my iPhone more often than my IPad 2 for reading and browsing because my iPhone is always with me whereas my iPad is not, also my kids often manage to persuade me (big softie) to use my iPad, so I am left with only my IPhone much of the time while at home. |

Let me know if you get your hands on some tablets. All my dudes are out. |

You are dreaming right now.
Oh has the tablet been upgraded since the iCommandment days? What's wrong with stone, it lasts forever? Though I ought to upgrade to one of those Flintstones stonepecker models - so much faster than chiseling. |
