Haha. Misty has so many weird moods. She especially freaks out on her cat tree. She's overweight but she's quite acrobatic on there - doing flips and running up it with ease, etc. She gets this crazy look in her eyes when she's like that. And don't get me started on the catnip moods.

She's also the most feminine cat ever. All she does is mew like a kitten. Or say "meeee!" Her fur is super soft.

My old cat, named Kitty, was the best cat I'd ever had. He passed away last year. I miss him so much. Here he is:

Although that picture might not be the best to show it (he's yawning there, not hissing), he was the friendliest cat ever. He loved everyone; he was like a dog. He'd always come when called. And he always seemed to know how I was feeling. If I was sad or crying he would come over and lay next to me.

Anyway, Misty says "meeee" and Kitty would often only say "owwww". So together, they said "Meeeoooow".

i love the picture of Kitty! that's great!

gandalf seems kinda fat, but it's hard to tell if he's actually overweight or not, on account of his long, fluffy hair.

he rarely speaks, but when he does, it's usually "Mrh."

i've got a bunch at home, but only a few here at work. here's the best of what i've got here:

in the last two, you can see his only non-grey fur: the spot of white on his neck. and the last one was photoshopped from an original image in which he is flat on his back, just like your pic of Misty.

Hehe... I just made that sound to see what it sounded like and then about 1 and a half second one of my cats jumped on the back of my chair and was like "mrh". It was funny.

Sad story, though. My first cat's name was Misty and she wasn't too bright. She died in the dryer when I was at school..... She was stupid, but I loved her.

I love seeing pics of everyone's kitties! Oh yes, and the dogs. We'll be getting a dog when we move this summer sometime - probably one from a shelter. I was going to buy one from a breeder, but what's the point when there are so many homeless, loving animals waiting at a shelter to be adopted? I only have a pure bred cat (Cloud is a Tonkinese), but it was my husband and my first pet together and he wanted a Tonk because of their dog-like personality in a cat package! He was totally worth the $500 we paid for him.

What a beautiful kitty! I'm so sorry for your loss. It's comforting to know she had a good, long life.
