Yeah I know, but I it was thought-provoking, which is pretty much my league. Besides, sometimes, when we think about stuff like that is the time we realize how trivial it all is, and that the way to actually leave our print in this world is through our thoughts and actions. We are but what we think. I thought maybe if aznsmartass read that and thought about it, she would consider that maybe that is a better way to spend 10 seconds... being and helping others be.

n seriously i no for a fact alot of ppl type dis way and speak dis way so since ur all fighting me so passionately on dis it just means u dont see ppl typing like dis dat often so it means either u don't have a diverse group of friends or u don't have dat many

dam... english being one of da most difficult languages please! ever heard of chinese, japanese or even korean

n one more thing da fact dat i don't type my werds da way school teaches me to doesnt mean i dont respect my thoughts if i really didnt respect my thoughts i wouldn't even express them

First of all, we are not attacking you, we are just telling you how we think, and that maybe if you did care more about your thoughts you would make it easier for others to read them. After all, as theroguechemist said, the most important part of communicating succesfully is getting your message across. Look at the response you've had due to this, what do you think that means??? That we like to harass people? No. It means that all these people had trouble reading your post, and since we want to be able to understand your opinions and value them as we should, we are conveying this message to you.

I understand it might be more comfortable for you to type like that, but that's just because you are accustomed. If you really are a smart person I don't think you would have any problems typing things correctly, so others can read them.

Anyway, I will lay off now, and there's just a couple more things I'd like to say:

1. Notice I am not attacking you or your opinions, just sharing my P.O.V.
2. If this was all about being confortable you shouldn't have brought up the issues of rebelion or time it takes to type
3. The way you defend yourself makes us seem that you could change your way of writing if you wanted, but you are just an adamant person and want to prove you are right. Its really not that much effort for you, compared to the effort others have to make to try to decipher what you are saying.
4. If you really want people to read and consider your opinion, then I would suggest you help them do so. Otherwise they wont read it. If that happens it will be just the same as if you didn't post at all......

I dont have a problem when you time "b/c" or "b4" or "u" or "ppl" once in a while, but a post full of that in combination with "da", "dis", "y", "n", "wut", "mebbe", "dey", etc etc gets REALLY annoying.

Read the blue parts, focus on them. If you did instead of blindingly read the ones you can use to prove your point you will realize I have a point.

Look, there are a lot of forums out there that you would get excessively and violently flamed for talking like this, and continuing to talk like this. You could TRY, just for this forum, just try to make some real posts.

There's a certain difference from IM'ing casually to your friends and etc. But when you enter a new world, say public speaking, interview for a future job, or even presenting yourself to a new forum, it's usually common etiquette to raise your vocabulary bar.

For instance, in one forum I visit, www.roguesci.org, you aren't exactly allowed to make new topics unless you have about 10 posts at least, otherwise, you can expect to get banned. Others, such as www.bombshock.com, will flame the hell out of you if you so much as act the least bit unintelligent. Hence, their 10 page forum disclaimer/rule book.

Posting on a forum doesn't require you to type fast. In fact, you have a plethora of time to compose your post. Not so with IM'ing I'm sure.. So even if it takes a little bit more time, take a few minutes to compose a readable message...

that's kind of a harsh way of putting it, but i understand what everyone is saying. we all have our annoying quips--some people (and i was once one of them) are very annoyed anytime they see "i" in lowercase; i don't even know why i do that now, and i seem to spontaneously alternate back and forth with it's case. regardless, the messages we post are the only basis we have for forming an opinion on others. we all use abbreviations from time to time, but when used in excess it's a distraction and a deterrence from wanting to continue to read. i for one don't normally read aznsmartass's posts, simply because i find them frustrating. Anyways, the point is the matrix is one of the best films ever, and my personal favorite(just a centimeter above Fight Club). Long live the matrix(and good grammar)

I'm only pissed-off because I'm OCD and can't change it.

This isn't the only time that I have been pissed off by people from the forum (not only from grammar). In fact recently, I've been gettin pissed off alot from people from the forum and I don't want to be anywhere where I get pissed off and other people get pissed off too. For the record I never forced anyone to read my posts so you guys didn't have to get so pissed off, or have to insult me the way you all did.

Anyway I'm quiting this forum this will be my last post. You know I joined because I thought you guys were cool and open-minded. However, since I've been here there was never a single person who ever once backed me up on anything, only people who attacked me.
