Dunno if there's another post about this somewhere, but we've hit 4000 members! w00t!

4000 plus 9, now...

Wow...that's a lot. Of course, if we subtracted all the users who registered but never posted, or those who came, saw, conquered, and left, never to return, and others, there'd probably be a lot less -- but whatever! Paaaaaaaaaaar-tay!

I remember when we were counting down to 2000 I think! Then 3000. Have we gotten roughly 1000 new users per year, then?

Yeah, I remember hitting the 1000th, 2000th and 3000th member mark. That wasn't too long ago. We're growing pretty fast--just yesterday we got thirteen more members. Wow.

BTW--I'm really liking this smily in particular

Oh, and I just checked--I'm user number 434. We've come quite a ways--we're almost 10x as big now.

Also remember that we purge account a couple of times a year. Those that have joined, but not posted in 6 months.

We have probably had over 5000 sign up by now.

4000 is great! So, what are we gonna do when we hit 5000? I think we need something, maybe a commemorative candy dish?

We'll definitely need an international convention when we hit 5000. Any ideas for a location? As long as it's a one-time thing and I've got a little advance warning, I should be able to make it most anywhere. Maybe we could go somewhere to try surfing?
