I fear I may have it, I have started to exclude myself from people, my speech is getting more boring, I don't really even wanna talk to people anymore. I have thoughts of suiceide often, I have tried it before. Lack of emotion for family and friends. The sense of being controlled by outside forces. Social withdrawal. I also get weird things when my head goes really fuzzy and dizzy and I just fall down. I want to see whats happening to me without my parents getting involved. I don't want to tell anyone incase they think I'm making it up or they take the p**s

Now, I don't think that you have Schizoprenia, to be honest this doesn't sound like that, sounds more like depression to me. I can relate to the suicide thing, about a year ago... let's just say it was a dark time and I never want to go there again. It also sounds to me like your having panic atacks, they sometimes show themselves like that. Now onto a solution, there's no set way out of depression, though I found that dealing with what was making me depressed in the first place was the best way to go, of course you have to work out what in your life is making you like this first. It would be an idea to talk to a doctor about this though, if you're worried about your parents finding out, make an apointment without them knowing, doctors aren't allowed to pass on medical imformation to whoever asks. If for any reason you can't do this, all schools are supposed to have someone you can talk to about this, perhaps you should do that.

The problem is I don't know why I would be depressed, there is nothing that has happened. And yeah I'm gonna see the school counceller.

Yeah, I self-diagnosed. I first saw an article about it in Encarta Encyclopedia a few years ago, and was struck by how accurate the symptoms were.

PLEASE.. talk to someone.. if not your parents, then the school counselor. Find an adult you trust and tell then what you're feeling and seeing! Let them know how serious it is.. make them hear you! There is help but not if no one knows you need it. We care..

I'm 15. And the other day I tried cutting myself with a knife, lol, but it wasn't sharp enough. So I got a razorblade and cut. It wasn't that bad, my mom didn't see or my dad. And I'm gonna go see school people. But I don't know how I'll start it off you know, I won't know what to say. They probably won't take me seriously and say I'm seeking attention or something. Losers.

Consult a psychiatrist, avoid trying to self diagnose. EVERYONE has some of the conditions in their life some times. Only a medical doctor can make the right diagnosis.

i had the same feelings a little while ago. i stopped smoking weed and didnt watch TV for 3 weeks. o crap i went MAD! so depressed and almost suicidal. then i started smoking again and turned the TV back on and i feel great! too bad you cant get your hands on marijuana, a natural, safe, antidepressant. either that or try and talk with your parents man. they wont think your werid. they want to make you feel better. try asking them to buy you some vitamins or healthy organic foods, it may help your chemical imbalance.if that doesnt help then turn to a doctor! your life is of infinite worth! dont let negative energy influence you

Hiya, I wouldn't advise weed - I personally find it can make me worse, but then everyone is different. I did a lot of selfharming years ago, and was depressed on and off for 5 years. Nothing really bad had happened, it was just some chemical inbalance in the brain. I took antidepressants at times, but one day woke up and decided 'I'm not bloody having this. I'm not gonna feel like this for the rest of my life - I'm better than this' I gave myself a kick up the arse and started to rebuild my life. At first I had a huge rock in my head , which used to prevent me moving anywhere, then small cracks appeared which I could work through.... over the last four years i've been working hard to pull this rock apart, but there;s still a few chunks of it left now. I know how dark depression can be, I didn't speak to anyone for weeks, and I know what you mean about parents not understanding. My Mum only recently grapsed how I must have felt in my youngers years - for someone that has not been there, you can only be patient with them. Going to see a counseller is good idea - just talking to someone that you feel you can trust - don't bottle it all up.

Whatever you do, please, please, do everything you can to stay away from medication. Especially, especially, anti-psychotic medication. Those who offer it to you will say they care about you. Turn them down. I care about you more.
