Does anyone of you know the name of this melody?

I have had a melody stuck in my head for some time now, and I have no idea where it comes from. For some reason I feel like it might come from a video game, possibly from a Shenmue game or something. It might have also been a melody that I might have written myself at some point - I sometimes write melodies, and that melody sounds like my style - but I am definitely not sure about that. Anyway, I have tried to recreate it on FamiTracker: Does this sound familiar to any of you?

0:5 to 014 sounds familiar to me. Like a melody that led to the chorus of a anime song. But all of it I have no idea. Sounds like a great melody though. ^w^

The rest of that melody that I can remember is almost the same as in the video, except that it picks up some power in the beginning of that repetition so that the notes are played louder and louder during the first five beats, and also with very slight alternations in speed, like first it is marginally faster and then it slowly settles to normal speed again. The ending is also slightly different - it ends on the same note as the second note in the video. Given how specific my memories are if this melody, it would be kinda funny if it turned out to be my own melody. But maybe I did compose it like that and remembered it that way.

I have asked some more people since last time, and none of them seem to recognise it either. One of them thought that parts of it sounded similar to some other song, but there were always significant differences as well. So I guess I can assume that I have written in myself for the time being, lol.
