I don't pay monthly fees for games. |

It comes out november 9th for those interested. If anyone will be doing this what server do you want to play on? We could have a dreamviews guild. |

Haha, well, I have been playing MMORPGs for 5 years now. I should be fine... The only thing I worry about is school. I am skipping today if I can get my copy. But, I already have a 4.0. I only really want a 3.0. |

Me neither. Have other things to do/play. |

I'm not. But my brother and I did get back into the old Evercrack--I mean, Everquest--after three years. You can find me on Rodcet Nife as either Ellifayne or Kemene. |

These games create an entire parallel reality imo. That's why they are so addictive, a world just for you where you can become powerful and popular regardless of real life obstacles. I want to play all of them, but sadly time, money and guilt prevent this. But yeah, go for it Crucible, hehe make the Dream Views guild |

id prefer to get FFIX but if it doesnt work out, ill move to evercrack II |

Did anyone ever hear about that incident with the first Everquest? I wonder if anything like that will happen with the second one...? |

What incident was that??? |
|
someone died of too much everquest no sleep, same with counter strike |
|
Someone died!! holy crap |
|
*shrug* i heard something like that... perhaps it was just the counterstrike guy that just died playing to much. but evercrack causes lotsa bad thigns though. |
|
People dying of addiction to video games, I'm officially worried. |

I don't like Evercrack, I bought it when I was young an naive, those bastards have a monthly fee and I was unaware of their pussification. I don't give a squirrel's rectum about Evercrack II either, I'll play stuff that's free everyone once in a while, but not Evercrack... Never Evercrack. |

I was into EverQuest when it first came out. Haven't played in about two years. Its just got too big and wasn't fun anymore. I dont think I will get EQ2 (actually I know I wont)! Anyway.. I played on Fennon Ro but that doesn't matter now. |

someone around here put their baby in the closet because it was crying while he was playing EQ. A day later it was dead or something, I saw it on the news a year or two ago so I don't really remember the details. I also remember a guy shooting himself in the head because he couldn't cough up the monthly fee anymore or something money related like that. |

I am seriously considering buying Matrix Online, since I am buying a new computer for myself next week(rather than sharing the family one) and the specs are pretty good. Also, I am probably quitting my job, so I would have plenty of free time to use up in stuff like that... |
|
If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...
I've never been able to get into RPGs. I play Second Life, which I like because it's more free-form and has more room for creativity. It can be addictive as any other game, but for me I would say that SL (and DV, for that matter) is providing a bridge from old social habits that centered around chemicals (booze and weed, among other things) to whatever I end up doing in the future. Is it healthy to take out your social impulses on people you'll probably never meet? No, but there are worse things. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

I'd play if it wasn't for that stupid monthly fee. |
