      In england, "chips" means "fries" and crisps means "chips"

      i knew about the chips/fries issue, but didn't realize chips were called crisps. interesting...i wonder why that didn't catch on in Canada?

      So tell me, what do you call chocolate bars? They seem to call them candy bars in the U.S.

      We call our chocolate bars, well, chocolate bars. We don't call anything candy.

      We call it a sofa. Only posh people call it a Chesterfield here
