the man used so many steroids his arm eventually collapsed. i saw about ten minutes of a documentary last night about him, including him draining 2 cups of blood and pus from his sagging, infected bicep (which was hanging limply from his right arm) in his bathroom before going to emergency.

What an idiot. Those arms are seriously grotesque, i just don't see the point. People like that need to try and work on their minds before their bodies.

I think the human body is cool and I see nothing wrong with being strong and a lot of body builders are fairly good looking [/understatement]. Too bad most of them go beyond the realm of "strong and good looking" and into the realm of grotesque and unnatural. It's just as bad when a woman goes too far, if not worse.

So many american sporters use steriods. It's really really really not healthy.

And it shrinks your penis and balls. (it's true.)

I don't know of anything more unattractive than that on a man. Disgusting.

Even WITH steroids, how does anyone ever bulk up that much?

For a while there, I was hitting the weights three times a week for 45 minutes. I was able to put on a few inches around my biceps, but nothing like that guy.

Yech. I like a little muscle on a guy, but not near that much..I'd rather be with someone who was way out of shape like I am than anyone like that, honestly. I guess he got what was coming to him. It sounds mean, but hey....

At that point it seems to be more of a psychological issue. He needs professional help, not to be called an idiot.

Nah but you are right. He just has a very wrong picture in his head. Like anorextic people, that can never be slim enough this man thinks he can never be buff enough.

I was reading the other day that there is actually a disorder called bigerexia (sp) that is like the opposite of anorexia and occurs in men as such (probably also women body builders). So, really, they should be working on their minds before anything else, since it is almost a disorder for some of these men (and women).

And don't even get me started on the women that do that kinda stuff to themselves. I mean seriously, to each their own but trading the vanity of wishing to be more self-acceptive for the vanity of being a single, disproportionate muscle mass, to me, is a step in the wrong direction.

Yeah...It's sad when anyone spends their whole lives trying to improve themselves...People go to such lengths to perfect themselves. At a certain point, it's not improvement....I wish people could just be satisfied with who they are.....I mean, in a healthy way. Being careless in maintaining their bodies and other aspects of life is just as disturbing. People should able to say, "I love myself." simply because they are themselves.

I read about this dude he doesn't use steroids for 25 years on gym and when he started he cannot stop ^^ they where like candy to him.
