I have a theory that school rots your brain, as it consumes so much of your time. If you are not very challenged by school, it still consumes a ton of time on out of school stuff like homework, projects, studying, etc., but your brain isn't working very hard. Last year I had very little homework, and plenty of freetime (mostly used up by activities, but even then more than now), now I have more homework, have to get up earlier, and school is much more consuming of my life. Here is my evidence:

Last year I was bored one day adn took an online IQ test thing and scored 149 (that's 49% above "average"). Today, I had nothing to do (friday, I don't bother with homework since I can do it on the weekend), so I took an online IQ test again (I think the same one), and what do you know, I dropped 19 points, scoring a 130. This is not a bad score at all, but I am much happier with a 149.

So heres the question, do you think that this is my brain weakening from not being worked enough, or is it just me being tired at the end of the week?
