Hmm...where do you live? |

I was doing some backyard astronomy with my Father-In-Law Father's Day night. I had been viewing Jupiter with my telescope and we were looking to the south. I noticed an light orange-colored light moving from North to South at a high speed. It was directly overhead. I estimated that it must have been moving much faster than a normal aircraft but not so fast that I could rule it out as such. It appeared to be at a very high altitude. I had a pair of bushnell 12X50 binocs handy and I was able to get a good look. There seemed to be two lights. One big one in front and one tiny one in back. I did not see any red or blue lights on it nor did I see the normal type of strobe that are on most aircraft. This light was either really bright or the craft was not as high as it looked. However, traditional aircraft would have produce some sound it if were that low with a normal sized light. |

South West corner of Missouri, close to the Oklahoma, Kansas borders. Did you see something as well? |

I thought I did. But it could just as easily been my imagination, or a reflection. |

It could easily have been 'top secret' military aircraft testing. They usually try not to turn on many lights. |

they need to make binocular tripods or something. They're so hard to hold steady. I feel your pain. |

Back with less attitude and more diffidence than ever before! Maybe.
