Ok, here in Europe we hear a lot of times that americans suck, are dumb, rude, etc. I rejected that of course since I've never been there and I'm not fond of judging people that I don't know
.
However, a friend of mine went to the US this summer and she got some REALLY stupid questions (for example a 13 year old asking whether we have electricity in Europe... Or a woman asking whether we have ice cream...)
So I was wondering, what do they teach those kids in the states?! Seriously! Do you only get american history or something? I mean, in primary school we had to learn ALL the countries and their major cities plus their history. And that was only primary school.
So since I've never been to the states, I have no clue what it's like there...
And by the way, why do you guys call yourselves americans? I mean, canadians are also americans, just like mexicans and all the other people that live on that continent. If anyone knows the answer to that question...?

Just to make it clear: I am not offending anyone, I just don't know anything about how your country works (only your states, major cities, history and law system )

ow, speaking of your law system, is it just the rest of the world, or do you also think that you guys have gone too far? I mean, you can sue someone for practically anything!
