I do not see this as a matter of offending me but a matter of ethics. Would you brag about tying your shoes or winning a fight against a dead guy? It is the guilt of laughing at the expense of someone else - especially their death.

I do find this type of humour funny but sometimes it is just blatantly obnoxious. These pictures are not so bad but sometimes it gets out-of-hand.

That is the least valuable argument anyone has posted so far. You are completely wrong in this and are now proving what some of the of there people here have said. Two wrongs to not make a right. He might be a sadistic fuck, but that doesn't justify anyone else being one.

The point is that this there is nothing wrong with the pic in the first place, not that there is wrong and we are lowering down to his level.

First of all: If you are referring to me, let me clarify: The edit of my post was me switching the order of things around after I post them, as I always do. The only grammatical error I found in it was 'to' instead of 'do', which I left intact for your appreciation.

Secondly: Given your previous response, I don't think your IQ could get any lower without you losing the ability to coordinate your fingers to type.

Finally: You are fucking wrong, not in posting that pic, but in your reasons to justify it. You'd be better off coming out and admitting it, before we all call you out some more. Got it?

And fourth of all since you weren't the last one who posted I wasn't talking about you dumbass. Oh and also, weren't you the one who was calling out people for getting offended???? Make up your mind before you post. Oh and wait a second here, I'm pretty sure I remember you already commenting about his horrible spelling in a previous topic... let's just see here.....

I was and still very much believe that. I am saying people shouldn't get offended about it because it is not offensive/wrong. It is satire, it is humor and it should not be taken as an insult as it is not meant to be one in the first place. However, you are now arguing that it is offensive but it's ok to do something wrong because he would do it too.

That is the difference between a winning argument (mine) and a losing one (yours)

Yeah, in that I agree completely with you. However:

1. I just wasn't very sure if you were referring to me, since you were not smart enough to grasp the clear sarcasm involved in this post before

Your posts have been nothing but antagonistic and chock-full of fallacies. When you laugh at the expense of someone's death or misfortune, it is completely selfish, no matter how "evil" the person is. Insulting others and laughing at their expense is truly just a means at rising your own self-esteem levels (which are probably low if you have to laugh at someone's death&#33 and rectifying your current stance and power as the other person suffers because of it. If Bush were to come on TV and say, "Damn right, the bugger had it coming. Hahaha! Let's all open up a bottle of champagne!" Would you truly think that this is the "right" thing to do or say?

Furthermore, considering your antagonistic words, if you are searching for arguments here - please direct them to a blog or myspace page where someone who might be interested will read them.

I assume this post is facetious.

Where do you draw the line when someone "deserves" to be laughed at and killed?

Firstly, I must assume that everything you know about Saddam is from the media or simply external infromation. I will assume that you have never met the man. Considering this the case, where are you in any 'right' to judge someone you never knew or met for yourself but based your entire opinion from others?

Secondly, one death can be seen as immoral as a million. If I go out and kill an innocent child, torture them, perverse them, etc. Does this mean it is 'worse than' or 'better than' something like the Christian crusades where they murdered countless people "in the name of God". Or is this truly getting carried away and completely ostentatious?

Thirdly, let us say that I am being robbed and kill the man trying to rob and hurt me. Am I a better person than he if I laugh at him and kick his dead corpse? Let us say we investigate and find out that he is in fact the person who killed.. oh I do not know, let us say Jesus, Muhammad, your mom, whoever. Does it make me a 'better person' if I laugh at him and postulate my "betterness" over them?

Fourthly, take into consideration that the man had many, many people following him. What about all of them? Does that mean that every single one of his followers are evil incarnations that deserve to be tortured and killed? What about their families?

Laughing at one death is not 'better' or 'less bad' than laughing at a million deaths. If evil is measured in quantity, then how many people do I have to kill before I am considered inhuman and deserve punishment? How many people does someone have to kill before they are considered evil? Wether or not I kill 1 person or a million - the same punishment will come to me, I will still be considered unethical. What it comes down to is how you judge me and act accordingly.

Now where's that satirical humour you had when originating this thread?

I made that picture in high school when I was first learning photoshop. So yes, I was a complete amateur at the time and probably around the age of 17. I am no computer whiz at all so I find it quite funny.

Suddenly it is not so funny anymore, could this be because of the motives behind the posting? Perhaps now you can understand how your motives for laughing at the former pictures are seen as immoral.

As I said perviously, and I state that it is still evident - your posts so far have been entirely antagonistic and full of fallacies.
