Thread: I Just Need To Post This, I Don't Feel Like I Can Talk To Anyone I Know About It.

Recently a friend of mine has been going through some problems, being really depressed, cutting herself and briefly contemplated suicide. Then last night I had a dream in which she wanted to erase herself from existance, there are a couple of blanks in the dream as I didn't have time to write it when I woke up:

I was talking to Sarah and she said that she want’s to kill herself and send her soul to hell, saying she doesn’t ant to exist anymore and want’s to be erased from reality. We are out on a street with some people when she is about to start the ritual, it is all dark and gloomy. I come in and beg her not to go saying how much I care for her, but she won’t listen, saying she has had enough. A big gaping hole opens up in the floor with fire.

We are following a zombie of Sarah around to see where she is heading. We park the vechile around the corner. I say about what if she sees us, but someone else says that she doesn’t know we are there and that we are following her, not running away. I keep a watch. But she catches us unawares and attacks us. She is snapping at me and I am standing up trying to push her off. She is unsuccessful in her attack though.

Sarah goes on holiday to America with Gem. I track Sarah down and speak to her again, trying to convince her not to do it. I start crying begging her not to, telling her how much I care about her. She asks if that was the reason I came all the way over to America and I said it was. I tell her I would do anything for her and she is the person who matters to me most. She is still want’s to do it and I say to her that she won’t be able to go on in the afterlife. She asks me what I mean and I say that I had always wanted to spend eternity with her, but if she erases herself from existence that won’t be possible. In the end she sees how much she is worth and will stay. I hug her, crying.


You don't need to comment or anything, it just made me feel weird all day and I had to get that off my chest.

Don't let a dream become an omen. Rather let it show you that simply saying and not acting isn't enough. Caring for someone means not only words but actions. In fact, the last means far more than the first.
