THis is what I liked out of it all:

-most senseless
-most social/nice
-best Avatar
-best signature
-most wise
-Best Mommy/Daddy(adoptions)
-Funniest Person
-Best Looking LDer(very little females and alot of males though, might not work out)
-Most artistic

Now I will add a poll and you can vote what will be the next award. Also Im thinking off having a minimum amount of posts before you can vote, though I dont know how I could make that work, people would vote anyway(vote not for this poll, but for the actual awards)

The option with most votes will go first, 2nd will go 2nd and so on and so forth. When we've had them all there will be another poll for new ideas. Soon to be added the hall of fame, which still includes Lowercase as the biggest postwhore ^_^

Very good idea, I second that. Maybe 100+ posts?

This way, people who actually know one another well will be voting only.. instead of uniformed votes.

Yeah but how do you realize that? I mean you can say: People with less then X posts(100?) are not allowed to vote. But wouldnt they anyway? Unless we dont vote in poll sense, but just post who you are voting for.

Like: "My vote goes to Mr X" instead of choosing Mr X in the poll. But you would not be anonymous anymore though, if some people care about that.

Perhaps for the duration of the awards a new area could be created called 'DV Awards', with access for people with over 100 posts + have been on the forums for such and such amount of time (because there has been a bit of postwhoring lately).

In there could be all the topics, like

"Best Avatar"
"Best Signature"

With just a regular poll inside.

That might work.

Shouldn't take too much, icedawg already has a script similar to what I'm suggesting for the CF (just squint at the letters for a bit, you'll get it), so a bit of modification and *bam* it's ready.

I know what you are talkinga about, just not sure how hard that would be cause I know nothing about such a thing...still I support your idea, its pretty good...
