      Hello all,

That title may have been a bit misleading. I will not pay you $1,000,000 but Ed Brown will if you can find the law that says the American people HAVE to pay income taxes...!

Apparently the IRS are nothing but glorified hitman and gangbangers who make you pay up for 'your own good'. The Income Tax is nothing but an unconstitutional tax and SHOULD NOT BE PAID by any Constitution-respecting and abiding by citizen of the US

If you CAN, let this guy know!!------->www.showedthelaw.blogspot.com

C'mon its money in the bank!

This from what I understand IS true.
My friend and I looked into this.

Try getting away wit hit though. See how far you get.

Like anything political in this system, we need power by numbers. But we can't get three people to agree on any issue in this forum.

a lot of people are supporting this. It is not main-stram broadcast by the owners of the counrty but that does not mean that people cannot be made informed...tell 3 people to tell 3 people and see where it gets

My government has laws in place that have been PASSED that make me accountable for paying Income Tax. I have no choice unless i no longer wish to live here.

There is no law there that requires US citizens to pay it.

Dont worry i see where you are leading me....
"Income Tax goes toward retirement funding" ...

Here we have a CPP that we pay toward seperatley from our earnings as another tax for our benefits after we retire, so Yes I do expect my own government to provide me with a pension when i retire.

This is a pipe dream of course, because the second i go to collect i'm sure it will have been dwindled away by the baby boomers....but that is another topic that i do not want to get into.

anyone else checked this out yet ?

      You're wrong.

I'm just going to be the one to say this. What happens when everyone stops paying taxes? Whoooops, there goes our government.

Yeah, sorry guys, tax is not a recent invention of any sort. Income tax has just become more of a possibility as we gear ourselves towards the wonderful world of bureaucracy - barely a single transaction goes by without there being records now. Feel free to use this flimsy argument when the IRS pay a visit, though. I doubt they've heard that one before.

I'm sure it would take about ten seconds to change whatever hare-brained loophole supposedly exists.

Yet another great post brought to you by MSG!!!!!
      TAAAAA-DAAAAA!!!
The real shame is that there are too many imprudent bastards like you here today

Yes i can see how you would probably be one of those people who feel "lucky" just to have the illusion of America and the government looking out for the people best interests.
Great to know that the search for truth is dead and the ignorance of the lucky ones are fueling it.

Maybe before i go on you would like to tell me how the government (un-constitutionally) taking money from its citizens makes them 'feel lucky'???

State taxes are different than national taxes. Military, welfare, people actually in office, etc.

again, how did the 'nation' survive without this much needed Income Tax before 1913?
are you saying that the income tax is rightfully a national tax?

One of the most complex and silly things on earth is the American Tax system.

Anyhow, If people would stop paying tax, maybe they would stop spending billions and billions on war. Enough to totally abolish poverty in America, by the way.

Why dont you back up MSG on that great starter posted on the 1st page? Ohh my bad, picking and choosing as usual.

Come back when you want to discuss the topic and not my lack of "free thinking" or continue on your course recognizing that you are only inserting your 2 cents between words that have nothing to do with you.

well, my edit was to add more to my post, I didn't change anything before my list.

There was a much smaller need for large sums of money.

however, that doesn't really matter. Income tax is a check on capitalism. It keeps our economy in line. After the industrial revolution, the economy became extremely lop-sided. Income tax was a great balance.

      Sure I can

      http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/WhosCount...4304&page=1
700 BILLION dollars spend on war

      http://observer.guardian.co.uk/world/story...1712965,00.html
      37 million poor Americans.

      700 BILLION / 37 million = 1 891.89189$ per person.

Maybe I under estimated how many poor people America has, but if all the money the war cost was spend on people, America would have been a whole lot richer.
