      photo editing

      is there any free and 'good' photo editing software on the net that i could pick up?

      i got a new computer and it doesn't have any good photo software on it and i'm not about to pay for it if i can get something semi-good for free.

      Thats easy: The GIMP. It's available on it's native Linux, Win32, or Mac OS X. It's just hit version 2.0. Google search it and you'll find it.... it's very good and utterly free.

      Hell yeah, get the GIMP. Absolutely fantastic image manipulation program, and it's all open-source and free. I use it for any art stuff I may have to do.

      k now onto another n00b question.

      can someone help me get started with DC ++? i know nothing when it comes to this stuff. i.e. i had mirc for about a week and i couldn't get it to work.

      so far i've downloaded it and went to search as i did in kazaa... and either i'm doing something wrong or nobody has any tool...

      help please.

      MS Paint. Yeop. Totally... Pixel-pixel art. I'm just that good...

      I haven't really had the need for photo editing/manipulation, so I can't recommend anything.

      You'll be doing yourself a favour by downloading the GIMP. It stands for the GNU Image Manipulation Program, so it's not fetish related in any way.
