I am sure Elwood would respect Mexicans that are Legal immirants, just as much as other American citizens, even if they behave all 'gangster' and such.

Besides that, illegal immigrants don't get welfare, and you still haven't explained how they cost America so much money. Probably they are just good for the economy. Here in the Netherlands, some people complain about how lots and lots of Polish people start working here, while actually we Need them for our economy, since it is somewhat overheating, and we don't have enough people to match the companies' demands.

Anyhow, building an Iron Curtain like America is doing at the border of Mexico is pretty ironic. On several levels.

Your country is founded on Immigrants. What about the shiploads of Irish people that were driven to your country also by poverty?

Just cause you read some hyperbole on some shitty website doesnt mean you should go flying off the bloody handle. Try something pratical like not being a fat lazy stereotypical american and doing a better job than the cheapass mexican. Then you'll get the job.

If you get here illigally, but you marry somone and become a ligitimate citizen..so be it. I dont care, i just hate when people cheat the government.

I feel the same anamosity to most people who are on wellfare, unless you are missing a arm, or a single parent you dont deserve free money that comes out of my pocket.

You know, instead of worrying about this, I think the energy would be well spent trying to do something more productive.

Interesting choice of words... except the Soviets during the Cold War were more worried about keeping people in Eastern Europe from leaving rather than foreigners coming in.

(I'm just commenting on the choice of words, not so much on the topic of this post... and I have my final on global diplomacy in the Cold War tomorrow.)
