I never said they were angry. Anyway I have a online friend whos Emo - hes 1 year older than me - and hes a pretty good friend; hes funny, witty, good at rping, same things in comon, same sense of humour, just gets depressed alot but then again he has good reasons to.

The only people more annoying than emos complaining about their life are people complaining about emos. P.S.: What's this 'scene' shit all about? At least some people find a way to express it without having to please everyone around them, which sometimes can be even more devastating! Why do you make fun of that? Because you're probably just as insecure as emos and need to do it for some comfort instead of having long hair and black clothes while not bothering anyone.

Heh nonsense, when I was a teen, there were no emo kids. Sure, being a teen was hard. It's easily one of the hardest parts of our lives. And every generation has their own way of dealing with this stuff... except with the rise of emo music came the emo subculture, and frankly, of all the fads, that's the most pathetic one. As I see it, there are two categories of states of mind when you're a teen, given that it's such a hard time. What did I do? I realized that since it really IS such a hard time, things will only get better. And I looked forward to that, and it came, right on schedule. The other option would have been to wallow in misery, as if it will never end. The people who are emo because they are genuinely having a hard time just need to take a step back and realize that all they need to do is survive this, and then things will be better. But the truth about the subculture is that it's just another fad. It will die away like the rise of the boybands, and then the next fad will come in. If you're genuinely having a hard time as a teen, do yourself a favour and go rent/watch Pump Up the Volume. It's one of my favourite movies, and has a real good chance of changing your outlook. But if you're acting emo because you'll be accepted cause it's what everyone else is doing, then I stand by the making-fun-of that I so thoroughly enjoy. May the balls of a thousand fruitflies be rubbed into your funeral cake.
