Nothing really.

Although he'd often sleepwalk and do things during that time though.

Also, a lot of people (who didn't pay attention) think that all his hallucinations and what not were dreams.

Im surprised no one has mentioned that yet on this site, not even in the favorite movie thread, I thought it was an excellent movie and if youve seen you would know how it involves dreams. Dont ask me how! because its a hard movie to explain, but its good!

erm. i thought they were just in another state of consciousness that was supposedly outside the realm of dreams. but i could be wrong (i think it happened once before).

Oh yeah.. maybe The Cell would count?

Minority report is an awsome movie!

First, I'd like to apologize for resurrecting a thread from 2003, but this was the only thread I could find that was devoted to movies that are specifically about dreams & I assumed it would be better than starting a seperate thread. I'm always on the lookout for new interesting movies to watch, especially ones about dreams, so these are what I've found so far...

Waking Life (I'm sure you've all heard of it, just didn't see it listed yet)
The Science of Sleep
Dreamscape
The City of Lost Children

I've heard of "Dreams" by Akira Kurosawa but I haven't yet managed to find an english version online.

I also found a documentary on Carl Jung's dream research called "The Wisdom of the Dream", and another documentary called "The Secrets of Sleep"

...and I'm not sure if you'd consider Dreamcatcher (the Stephen King movie with Morgan Freeman) a movie about dreams, ...more dream-like perhaps, but I'm still interested in hearing about any movies even slightly related to dreams to check out.

what vanilla sky was based off of, but in my opinion this one's way better.

While "What Dreams May Come" (starring Robin Williams), is mostly about the after life, there are quite a few dream-related aspects and talk of dreams within the film.

Edit: I hear the Science of Dreams film is also worth watching.

EDIT: I just tried looking up "The Secrets of Sleep" and realized there's quite a few different videos online with the same title. The one I watched & was referring to was a "Discovery Science" documentary.

I THINK I've seen What Dreams May Come, but I may be thinking of The 5 People You Meet In Heaven. I haven't seen either in years, and both were pretty dream-like and surreal, so I'll have to check these out again. I'm still in the middle of Vanilla Sky & will probably finish watching it next, and thanks for the name of the original movie that inspired it. I didn't know that, and I'll look for an English version and check it out (mi espanol es no bueno).

I once heard, i believe on this website, about a low budget film about Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection, kinda all tied together.

Ill see if i can dig up the post, and let you guys know.

Disney a year or so ago made a childrens movie, a terrible terrible movie.
Sharkboy and Lava Girl. apparently there is dreaming in that.

Tak and the Power of Juju 2 the staff of dreams (not a movie I know just putting it out there)
