Right, this is probably the best shot i'm going to get, not much detail o the eye itself but i may upload another later, see if my bro could do a better one

Ok, here it is, my weird eye, it was probably dfficult to take this shot because i have a brown eye, enjoy anyways

EDIT: Grrrr, its taking the mick now, i get a high quality non-blur shot but i get loads of light in my eye so you can't see any detail of the eye itself, i'll keep trying!

Don't use macro with flash, ever.

Yeah, its got a really nice distincitve pattern to it, i hope to post another picture of my eye later since my brother has agreed to take a nice close up of my eye so you should be able to see the pattern in my brown eyes

Cool pics, guys! The irises of eyes are like snowflakes, they each have their own uniquie patterns and colors. I find it fascinating.

Yay I got a better pic if my eye. (thanx to AdamA's techie advice)

Still a crap photographer I'm afraid but at least the colour is a little less surreal

your iris looks a little like a lotus flower.

I'm sad that I can't get as close or clear as other people, but this will have to do. Does having a 4.1 megapixel camera make a big difference?

I wouldn't have thought so, its the lens and settings on the camera which make the picture

The megapixels are just how big the picture is.

Whoa, cool colors, CoLd! My eye has the gold around the pupil too, but not has much as yours. Really neat!

Thanks. My mom always told me (and I'm being serious haha) when I was younger that girls would fall in love with my eyes. I never really believed her until I realized that not everyone has my colour. I like your way of putting things, iris's are like snowflakes. Makes sense to me!

On certain eyes the blue is much more green, I don't know why.

my eyes are usualy blue... kinda dark blue and they look greeny on light.

That's a good Macro setting you have there gnome.

I love that first pics of your eye, Gnome - for some reason is kinda looks like fire flames licking the iris of your eye, I think it's the wavy design that creates that effect.

It is fire flames licking the iris

Here's mine from the other thread. The lighting is terrible, making me look like I have a black eye or makeup on: I have neither.
