I want to start signiture making.

I want to start signiture making but I'm crap at it, and all the tutorials I can find for it are for Photoshop, there is none for Paint Shop Pro.

Can someone send me some please?

Here's a tutorial for Paint Shop Pro:

Step 1: Delete Paint Shop Pro

      Step 2: Install Photoshop

Haha Marvo, bravo (no rhyme intended).

He does have a point, get photoshop because paint shop pro just won't cut it, download the free trial of photoshop for 30 days from the adobe website, try it out, its worth it

So basically your both telling me to fuck off and buy Photoshop with the money I don't have, ok very fair.

I can try Photoshop but what will that archive? It'll disolve in 30 days anyway.

hmm well Jdea has a point - photoshop is ridiculously expensive. Even Photoshop Elements is something like £60. Or is it £90. As for the new Photoshop CS3, it's £505. Now that's just stupid

Compare that with Paint Shop Pro which comes free with most PCs nowadays...

What's more, the Adobe free trial doesn't work for me. It says something about disk space... silly since I have over 100GB of free space, and it says to have one free.

P.S.P. comes free with computers? That's new, they must have adapted computers to run it as if it's running M.S. Paint (extremely faster). Therefore people who make computers are really cool.

Also, "Here's a good tutorial, JD" is kind of the answer I was wanting. It isn't funny, please realize this.

Well, it's true. I've tried Paint Shop Pro, and the only tool of worth in that package, is AnimationShop, and that can only make silly animations.

Also, you're putting words in our mouths. We didn't tell you to fuck off or to use your money on expensive programs. I'm pretty sure that everybody on the internet, who has a copy of Photoshop, downloaded it illegaly.
You could try GIMP, but that program is way more difficult to learn, than Photoshop. GIMP is for already experienced Photoshop users.

Try GIMP-Shop. It's the GIMP, only with a more Photoshop-like interface. You can easily find it through Google. I myself just use the GIMP, and find it easy enough to get around in. You may not can do everything with it that you can in Photoshop, but it's plenty for me, and should be more than fine for making sigs.

Go for it. Once you get it, I'll try to find you some decent tutorials, if you don't just search Google and get them yourself, which would be just as easy, really.

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

Jdeadevil I think you should stop leaping down people's throats and automatically assume that they're insulting you because "it's the internet". Most of the people here at DreamViews are very nice, Lucid Seeker being one of them. They're both giving you sound advice which I for one agree with. Photoshop is the best you can get at the moment in my opinion.

As well as this there are numerous ways of getting Photoshop for free.

It's as easy as googling it.

I understand Jdeadevil's frustration though. The vast majority of computer users cannot afford Photoshop for what it's worth and to say "it's worth it" is assuming a lot about Jdeadevil's needs (serious artist, etc.) which is far from implied.

Although Jdeadevil's response was a bit knee-jerk, Marvo and LucidSeeker were being a bit... silly. "You have a Volkwagen Polo? Fuck that, ditch it and get a Bentley!" And the "but it's free if you break the law" argument is very dodgy. All in all, I think they were being very juvenile and utterly unhelpful.

Not to say my 7-Zip comment was helpful, heh.
