Thread: If you changed your name what would it be?

i changed lots of names (not legally but in everyday use)
now i think i would keep mine.

As a kid, I always wanted my name to be Stacey. These days I can't understand why.

And I've come to like-ie my name.

(Errr we're talking about real names, not screen names, yah?)

I like my name, actually. I've gotten used to it.



But if I had to change just my given name, it would be to Westley. Call me Wes, though.

Probably Jared. I've always like that name. I like Jason quite a bit, though.

I used to HATE my name in school and always had people making fun of it

My real name is pretty unique I think
I wouldnt change it now...but when I was young I always thought it was weird and wanted to change it...But I learned to accept it

My fake name at school was Benjamin Thomas. However I want to change it to something like Jeremiah Blake.

Speaking of fake names at school. In my 12th grade year, I had the same teacher for two different classes and I turned in all of my work in those classes under the fictitious name "Wally". No last name, just Wally. My friend, Mark, who had the same two classes with me, turned in all of his work under the name "Otis".

Otis and Wally were names the teacher jokingly gave us one day and - since we were in so good with that teacher - we decided to start using those names for all of our work. It was funny and the teacher never had any problem with us doing so.

I used to hate my name, but I'm ok with it now. When I was younger I probably would have changed it to something nice and simple, like John or Ben. Something like that. Ross is a cool name too, I think.

If I were to change it, however, I would add in (just after my second name) "The Keeper"

I love my name. It's not a common name so if someone says it, I know they are talking to me! Plus, I love witch-type stuff, and my name is actually from Bewitched - AND it's the perfect name to work at a cat practice. A lot of people seem to name their black cats Tabitha. I wouldn't change my name for the world.

If I could change my screen name on here, I would choose Tabby or Tabby Cat. It would fit me a lot better personally than what I have now. But it's a little too late for that...

I'd like to be Gabrielle, but unfortunately I'm not a girl. I really love that name though.

Anyhow, I like the name Burns

Neko - what does it matter? It could become a unisex name like Ashleigh/Ashley or Sid/Sidney

OMG - I would love to call my baby Sidney - if a girl of course

Well, I COULD change it, but I think that would lead to some confusion, lol. And everyone is so used to me being Burns. I don't dislike my current screen name, but if I had to chose it all over again, I wouldn't pick the same one again, that's all.

If I HAD to pick an alternative to my real name, I would pick Gwen, or Gwendolyn. It sounds like a medieval princess name, and is one that you don't hear all the time. Gwen (the DG), I love your name!
