Nah, but seriously, the fact that there many women in this era that work harder than many men, shows just how sexist/hypocritical/outdated that guide really is. A lot of the women that I know, that work their asses off, don't ask for this kind of shit from a man (at least, overtly. Haha) so I hear/read stuff like this and just have to laugh at it.

My mother was sort of like that. I despised her for treating her man (who treated her like crap) as if he were the center of her universe. So chances are if I grew up in that era I still would have turned out determined to not be some guys servant.
