• Nature itself, and the feeling of being totally immersed in it.
• Happiness, love, peace, truth, compassion, courage.
• The gift of memory and the weird way it works.
• The genius of time, language, the universe, and cells.
• Epiphanies and other moments of heightened clarity, and how those feel.
• Day- and Night-dreams.
• Warm rains and warm breezes on bare feet.
• The ability to photograph things and have them last so long.
• Someone else smiling or laughing genuinely, and the way it makes you feel.
• Seeing little kid-couples or elderly-couples thoroughly enjoying each others company.
• The ability to easily communicate abstract/complex things to people you really connect with.
• Communication without words.
• The way eyes look up close.
• Seeing others dancing and singing and generally being carefree/spontaneous...or being that way yourself.
• Hearing people talk in foreign languages.
• The way you can make up a word or mispronounce it and people still know what you mean.
• Meeting strangers who are genuinely friendly.
• Large amounts of wisdom and truth packed into relatively few words.
• Random acts of kindness.
• The ability to read someone else's thoughts/ideas from a world away, the minute they write them.
• Orgasms and really good sex, or spending all afternoon in bed together.
• Rainbows and other prisms, sunsets/sunrises, and other natural miracles.
• Black licorice and black jellybeans.

Just making that list made me feel better about life.
