Thread: Reverse Speech

Pure rubbish. He suggests what should be heard ahead of time, which makes it a lot easier to "hear" what he says we should. Even with his suggestions, a lot of the example clips are just gibberish to me.

That is so.... weird.

The clips are a bit shoddy, and he openly suggests what is about to be heard...

Not a cynic... but the supposed claims from that are arrogant.

Not only that, but they claim that people's subconsciouses put reverse messages into their speech, and that these messages can be analyzed.

I remember I once went onto a Led Zeppelin forum, where there was this thread about backwards messages in Stairway to Heaven. Oh boy, it was so funny. Nobody except the thread-starter believed in it, and everyone laughed him off the forums.

Did you guys know theres a code hidden in the Bible?

It's basically the same as this, if you look you will find this stuff. Yes there is music with backtracked messages on purpose but I don't believe in this lame coming up with things that sound kinda like something but only when they tell you what it is.

Yeah, and there's a code in Moby Dick too... and Tale of Two Cities...

I know a few bands did put reversed messages in their music on purpose. ELO I'm pretty sure did that. But most examples of backtracking are poppycock.

Queen did it. (In that way I mean the band)

Play the Queen's Christmas speeches backwards and you'll get a message from Satan declaring lordship over Brittania and her Empire.

True story.

If you play the Weird Al song "Nature Trail to Hell" backwards it says "Satan eats cheesewiz" lol.

Another cool reverse speech is in the song "Now is Forever" by Eiffel 65 (yes that band that song that blue song). It says something that fits in with the lyrics of the song but they just reversed that line because it sounds cool I guess.
