basketball (and netball) were either US or canadian inventions (can't remember which)
all other major ball games are English inventions

We can't afford songs like that anymore. Peanuts and crackerjacks at a baseball game probably costs like $35 bucks. And you need to wash those things down with one of thoe nine dollar beers.

England is unique in the way that of the most popular sports it's invented, Rugby, Football, and Cricket, we seldom win at any of them.
