Czechoslovakia doesn't exist, and although the Danes speak alarmingly good english, we speak it even better in Britain.

What I don't get is that because he is so old, not only will he probably die in office, but he will be retarded. Once you hit 60, you start losing thousands of brain cells a day. Once you hit 85, you have lost 45% of your cerebral cortex (which does higher thinking). He will have as many brain cells as Bush after all his boozing and coke snorting.

Personally, if he wins I am going to live underground with the crab people.

A lot of our great presidents have been in their 60's or older, including Ronald Reagan. McCain has shown no signs of senility. If he goes cuckoo in office in his mid-70's, which I seriously doubt will happen, we can recall him out of office. I am not worried about that.

My prediction: NOT ONE person in this thread who has said he or she is going to move out of the country if McCain gets elected is really going to do that. Not one.

Seriously though, if McCain were elected this country would have nowhere to go but down, regardless of any decision he made in office. November 3, 2004 was nearly as bad as September 11, 2001 for half this nation, including the economic repercussions. Another victory for the Old Boys' Network would douse hope and entrench cynicism worldwide, making the USA and the planet earth a darker place. Preceded by an election or not, it would mark an avowal that while all men are created equal, some are more equal than others--the end of the American experiment.

I'm a duel citizen so I can live and work anywhere in Europe if I please, so I'm completely serious when I say I'm getting the hell out of this country if mccain wins. It was hard enough living with bush in office, now americans have a bad name in every other country in the world but their own. McCain getting elected will oly make things worse. I should know, I'm travelling Europe and so far people only cringe and/or give me a bad look when I tell them I'm American.

If McCain wins, I'm saying adiós to the us.

I will, but I'm not sure if I count. My wife and I are planning a move to Canada, but it has nothing to do with the outcome of the election. McCain winning could possibly speed up our getting our act together on it, but it really has more to do with a change of scenary.

Not that Obama is the answer to everything. I think we have overly high expectations of him, and he'll just fall short.

Anyway, if McCain wins, I too am getting out of this god forsaken country. This place is crap. I'm going somewhere like France, with free health care and better clothed people.

McCain is, as posted before, technically another Bush.

Obama is worse because he has no experience in politics and seems to be indifferent about loads of things.
