Anyone have any Superhero Movie Pet Peeves?

It seems that the recent fallout decades of movies all seem to follow exactly the same superhero movie patterns.

are we just going to see the same formulas played out again & again?

Well I don't care so much about the hero as much as the villain. My pet peeve is when the villain decides to preach about "why" he is evil. Of course what pisses me off even more is when he preaches about his "lack" of why lol.

Well my main pet peeve is that the final fight is usually very short. I'd like a 20 minute battle or something. It's usually like 10 (if that).

Plus more fights, there's usually alot of morals in hero films lately, which is good if done right! Spiderman 2, although a great film, spent way too much time on the morals.

Well I guess I'd like to see the superhero not always be indestructible too, maybe a little bit of a slow down and major injuries ect. Although a few films have shown the weaker side of the hero lately.

wo things make a superhero movie for me: vilains and... well, that's villains too... Plot, I guess. The Villain has to have a good scheme for the hero to go after them, then the 20-minute fight scene after the hero finds out the whos, wheres, possibly the hows. The whys are typically unnecessary, and the whens are always withing 5 minutes of the heroe's arrival. An it has to be a good villain. Venom is cool. Ras al Ghul is cool (I like how they made him the new Batman;s archenemy/former mentor). Haven;t seen Dark Knight, but Heath Ledger's Joker sounds cool. THe new Doc Oc? not so much. The new original Green Goblin? again, not so much, but at least he retains enough coolness for the movie to be okay, if not good.

Dr. Doom=rival scientist formed in the same incident as the Fantastic 4? BOGUS.

I've gotta say I'm pretty happy with recent superhero flicks.

The new Joker was awesome.

I was not at all disappointed with The Dark Knight. It met all my expectations...and MOAR.

Of course, I may be biased, considering my opinion is that Batman is the only cool hero. It's probably the fact that he's the most human out of all the superheroes - he doesn't have any real superpowers that make him practically invincible, like Superman. Batman just relies on his fighting ability, his equipment, and his wit. Oh, and his money. His mountains of money.

Mmmm, mountains of money.

I'm annoyed by all the damsels in distress. I wish the women would start acting more like guys, to be honest.
