      Can anyone script?

Um... that's really all. I'm trying to build my world in Neverwinter Nights and the language is heavily based on C+. So far I've succeeded admirably in driving myself insane.

      Hi Lost Soul...

What kind of scripts are you looking for? I use C++ regularly and might be able to help.

      Hooray!

The scripts I'm writing now are for Neverwinter Nights. Basically I have to program what I want all the NPCs and such to say and do. Thing is... I barely know even the basics. I actually taught myself the language at one point, but that was over a year ago. A lot has happened since then, and now that I'm back into it, I can't remember what I learned from me!

I'll send you an example of a script that I'm using and see if you can at least explain why it does what it does.

Well you may get a few of them... it seems that technology in general isn't agreeing with me today. It might be my computer's way of telling me to go to bed. I've been up for quite awhile now. X_X

      Well, here's the thing:

In the OnActivateItem slot, you can only have one active script (duh). My problem was mostly with combining OAI scripts together. See, I've got multiple items with the Unique Power attribute and I don't know C at all so I couldn't figure out how to get them all to compile properly, much less work. At first, I was using Cases, but that wasn't working at all. I finally did figure out what to do, though. And Seeker explained a lot to me, which helped incredibly.

Speaking of NWN, I just finished the Hordes of the Underdark campaign. Holy fucking shit! I want to rave about it but I don't want to spoil it for you if you haven't played through yet. For now, I'll just say that when they decided to go epic, they really went epic.
