So far anyways...

The first year, I had a bunch of easy classes, and chemistry. Chemistry sucked ass, I had to put so much stuff on my calculator just to pass the tests. I was hoping I would never have to see chemistry again. The next year, I electromagnetism and all the laws of electricity gave me trouble, and I never really bothered to learn more than the minimum to get by. Same deal with dynamics. Last semester I had differential equations, that was the hardest math class ever, mostly because the teacher sucked. I was honestly very surprised I passed that class at all.

But now, junior year, I'm basically fucked. I'm now taking materials science, system dynamics, fundamentals of electrical engineering, and fluid mechanics. With these classes, the basis for knowing what to do is everything from all those classes that sucked for me. The ones I never bothered to put any effort into are now coming back only in a slightly different form

So my advice is to take every class seriously, and actually do the work. Otherwise it comes back and bites you in the ass.

It took me 5 hours to do my fluid mechanics homework yesterday. The hardest part about college for me is finding the time to do everything. The actual work isn't that bad if you have the time for it.

Also, find a way to get yourself interested in the subject. It's a lot easier to learn something you're actually interested in. After all, curiosity is the teacher of knowledge.
