If you could travel anywhere in time as a "sight-seer," where and when would you go?

If you could go anywhere in time, where and when would you go? By "sight-seer," I mean that nothing you do in the past affects the present, for simplicity's sake.

I would travel to July 12th, 1986 in England to see Queen live at Wembley Stadium.

So, we can't interact with what's happening? If not, then I assume nothing can happen to us either.. so I'd like to go back and see if the big bang happened ._.

Or.. go through time and see how life started out and what some of the earlier ancient animals looked like!

They would have been weird ;D I read today they've found a fish with fingers.

I'd go back in time and as nitsuJ said, see if the big bang happened. Then I would travel to Jerusalem to find out if Christ was really born. I'd also go back in time eons ago to witness the highly questionable building of the pyramids.

Well, probably sometime in the future, so as to bring back useful information. Scientific theories, designs for useful technologies etc.

I would probably go back in time 65 million years ago to first see if there really were dinosaurs and second see how they were wiped out.

I'd also probably go back in time to the Trojan Wars, the Punic Wars, the Gallic Wars, The Battle of Hastings, The Crusades, The Hundred Years War, World Wars I and II.

Wow, this is really interesting to think about. If I could go back to witness one time, I really don't know what it would be. I might like to see something interesting, the Quenn concert like Pastulio said, or the Beatles' rooftop concert. Or maybe an unexplained mystery, like the whole Agatha Christie deal.

I would travel to the distant future to see if the universe evades heat death.

I would go back to before the time before absolutely anything, thus defying physics and nullifying all of everything; just because.

Then I would go ahead in time infinitely, to, again, do the impossible.

Then I would float around and poke fun at the universe and observe the formation of galaxies, the birth and death of stars, the evolution of life on other planets, and write it all down for the good of mandkind.
