      Rubix Cube

How many of you can always solve a Rubix Cube. I can solve it almost completely from any place. I have every cube in the right place but 2 of the pieces on the bottom (the ones with 2 sticker on) are rotated wrong usually.

Well, I used to play with one when I was about 8 but never came close to finishing it, aside from once or twice getting one of the sides to have all of one color. I saw an insane video on stupidvideos.com of a guy solving one if a few seconds, if you want to see it do a search on there for "speed cube".

I saw that vid... it was totally bogus. Just some guy messing up an already finished one played in reverse.

The official world record is 14 seconds, the unofficial world record is 12 seconds. Thats pretty fast, I'd say.

I finally solved it. Another time I wanted to make a cool design so I had all of the middle colors different from the outside colors.

I always used to solve it, but I cheated a little. When I boought the cube, it came with a little book that told the best technique to solve it. I could get the top all one color and 2/3 of the other 4 sides. The book also gave ways to get cirtain things right at the end, so I copied those.

I don't know where the book went. Lost in my room probably. I think I can solve it every time now though.
