      Thumbs up Conversation

Tonight when surfing facebook, I saw that one of my lesser known friends was online. Normally I don't just start up chats in facebook (at least to people i don't know very well) but tonight i just felt like having a chat just for the hell of it, just to improve or creat a friendship that easily could be had, but most of the time nobody cares to catch up with people they haven't heard from in ages presented the oppertunity.. He obviously wasn't as down as i was to have a conversation.. I thought at first that it was just him not really in the mood to talk to someone random on facebook, or maybe it's just because it was 2:30am. lol

Maybe it's just me, but I feel that out of all the things that we take for granted in life - Family, school, work, whatever it is, conversation, communication, and relationships are the most taken for granted. When i visited Europe this summer i realized this because out of all the things i experienced in Europe - the cities, the wonderful environments and culture, i figured out that just communicating with different people was the most important piece of the entire thing, because I learned the most, and you can't recreate the moments that could be had by just sitting down with a cold pint and talking to a complete stranger. Sure, he could be a drunk fool, or he could be someone with a perception of life that you can apply and relate to, causing you to better understand your own view of life. I met so many interesting, chill people that I'll probably never see again, but always remember.

Don't know what sparked this sudden philosophical state.. I'm guessing it was that fat spliff..

Thoughts? I just wanted to rant a bit

Anyway conversation is fun and all, but I don't think it's something that everyone needs. I like it in moderation, maybe it's because I see the same people every fucking day. But If I went to Europe (or somewhere with new people) I'm sure I would be more social.

      I expected assimilation, not conversation.

Good point it's true. And yes, I tend to smoke spliffs
