      My god it's hot...

      Recently, south eastern Australia has been going through the hottest heat wave in 100 years. Forecasts for this week have all been 40 degrees Celsius or higher. I live in the Adelaide region, and it got to 45 today, and there are a few more days like this ahead for us. This morning, the temperature hit 40 degrees at 9:30. Bloody insane. I've also heard of power failures in Adelaide as well, because of the amount of air conditioners and fans sucking up the power grids. Anyone feel my pain?

      As if one week wasn't bad enough, next week is also forecasted to be hot as well, luckily cooling down to 38 degrees

      Last june on our side of the equator it was no fun, no fun at all.

      Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

      Was 28 in Sydney today, dramatic drop from the couple of days where it hit 40, but you guys are really getting the brunt of it.

      Australia is a desert wasteland. ;_;

      Empty the icecube tray onto your bed before going to sleep - it works.

      Climate change... Yes, it's been happening for millions of years. I believe they call it "seasons".

      Well it's about -10 degrees celsius where I'm at so I don't want to hear you complaining about heat.

      As you can see, I've also utilised some meats and peas from the freezer.

      Vegas weather is even worse... In the summer it sometimes gets over 120F+ degrees at around noon. But it's dry heat so it isn't all that bad

      In southern California it's already heating up, and we've just hit February!

      LOL! Good luck re-freezing those peas!

      Yeah it has been very hot in Australia lately, though I haven't been through anything much higher than 30 degrees yet.

      We might come summer time. Here in Southern California, come summer time it's quite normal to get up to around 110 degrees (and for a lot of us that's comfy!). Though the downside is, I hate the cold. I visited my girlfriend in Canada... I was freezing for two weeks.

      I think I'd prefer it to be freezing rather than boiling. Might just be the fact that I'm Australian. But good news to Victorians and South Australians, this Sunday is forecasted to be 25 degrees .

      Britain... yeah apparently quite a few foreigners find it pretty hilarious. We hardly ever get snow though.

      And cars are slipping all over the place... I've been in one mild crash myself, how come driving is safe where you live?
