Ok so I think ninjas are cool, along with pirates as well, hell, ive even been a pirate =P

So lets look at the battle techniques of the Ninja and the Pirate

Ninja

ABOVE ALL ELSE! Sneaky!

Use guile and subterfuge along with sneakyness

Only come out at night

Have throwing stars and ninja swords, also use finishing moves and backflips

Dont have side kicks

Enjoy Sake

Regularly get their asses whooped by Samurai if its not Samurai, its some other good guy.

Attack single file one at a time.

Goal? usualy something political, like an assasination, make some dough, stock up on ninja stars and extra Tabi boots.

Now we move onto pirates...

Pirates!

ABOVE ALL ELSE! DRUNK!

Use Brash displays of brute force

Come out during the night or day, they dont care, as long as they have some rum or there is a merchant ship to raid, or town to sack

Swords, knives, Long 9's, Blunderbus's filled with nails and glass, pistols, and the hardcore ones have hooks for hands and peg legs!

Side kicks include midgets, parrots, monkeys.

Prefer Rum, but drink anything with the spirits in it.

Usualy kicking ass and taking names, even beting out the Goodguys because pirates are too damned cool to not win.

Attack en-mass, guns blazing swords brandished, usualy accompanied by cannonfire.

Goal? Have a rip-roarin good time, TREASURE!!!

.....Clearly....

Pirates have the edge...

Ninjas are still cool though, dont get me wrong... but come on... they are frikin pirates!

Pirates are cooler, they have smashing accents and nicer outfits. Too bad the sea doesn't agree with me anyhow.

Not with all that boose in them How could they focuse on thier enemy if they can't even stand straight. A Pirate would be too wasted to even begin to fight with anyone One thing is there awesome amount of brut strenght. But what good is that if you don't know wether you swinging on 2 Ninjas 3 or just 1. HAHA

Another disadvantage is they Kill thier own. And the Mutinys Lets not even get on that. They would be to busy fighting themselve to even think about fighting any Foe.

i like wolverine more but i would say spidy. only because he's just as physically strong and agile as wolverine but he can also do the web thing.

Spidey definately has the advantage over Wolverine. With all those enhanced Senses and along with being extremely agile and the physical strength. Yeah Spidey would have Wolverine's Ass on a Silver Platter

I don't know Guys that ones pretty hard to determine but I think Spidey would win over Gambit.

You guys are forgetting the matter at hand!

*mutter*

So pirates kill their own... clearly this only strengthens their ranks, as the weak fall... In ninja society it seems a hundred different ninjas show up unaware of the others all of them have the same plan but none of them are going to act together, they have their own personal agenda, while pirates... pirates have a captain... and a crew... and mutiny was actually rare... bevause what they said in POtC was true... the lowest levels of hell are reserved for mutineers.

Also.. if you are inebriated for that long you become adapted to it, hell just look at drunken style of martial arts, granted most of the time they are not drunk, but the form follows the flowing actions of a drunkard.

As for shooting at one or three ninjas, it does not matter, if your packing a blunderbuss full o shot or if thats not available nails and rocks and glass, it dont matter if there is one or five! they are all goin down...

Mutiny was rare, a crew was a family, they looked after one another... pirates or not when you are on the open sea, if your captain, be he confident and wise, knows the sea, you would not mutiny.

And remember Good guys always beat out the ninjas...

And pirates always beat out the goodguys... or they ARE the good guys...

BTW I like the new AVY Paperdoll =)

gambit vs spidy would be close because both have projectiles. i think gambits ray thing could burn through that webbing though, so ill say gambit.

Wolverine can easily break free from spideys usueless little webs, or cut them up, and hows spiderman gonan hurt em anyway, he can kick and punch him abit but thats it, if he gets slashed up once by wolverine hes dead meat, or if he gets stabbed..hes out

but spidy could incapacitate wolverines arms with his webbing. making him a punching bag, and if he didn't give up after two hours of getting beat on, spidy could always cover his mouth with some web and finish the battle.

wolverine would slice through the webbing. plus, whatever spiderman did to him, wolverine could just heal like that. no contest!
