Thread: Problems? Solutions.

As heard from this thread...Elis D. wanted it, so did I. I set it up.

I haven't read through the whole thread, but there was a game that was played on one of the other fora I regularly read, and it had well over 3k posts before being locked. It was simply called the "Problem Solving Game."

We start by proposing a single problem. Then, someone proposes a single solution. The next person posts a problem created by the prior solution. Someone proposes a solution for the new problem. We continue until we are stumped, with a problem that can't be solved or a flawless solution. The only real rule here is that the solution and the problem it creates have to play off one another. If the problem is "I'm hungry", then "cut out your stomach" is just as valid a solution as "eat something". Just as long as the problems and solutions have something to do with each other, it all works.

So here's an example...

Problem: I failed my math test.

Solution: Call up the ghost of Sir Isaac Newton to tutor me.

Problem: The ghost tries to posses me.

Solution: Call the Ghostbusters.

Problem: The phone goes out.

Solution: Use smoke signals.

Problem: The Ghostbusters can't read smoke signals.

Solution: Just let the ghost possess you, they'll probably come.

Problem: They don't come.

Solution: Kill yourself.

Problem: Now I'm a ghost.

And so on and so on. The more twisted and lulzy the problems and solutions, the better.

Bold up your problems in black, solutions in blue. Regular comments are not bolded and such on.

Starting with:

I need to blow up a building in my backyard.

Call up some terrorists. (if you need some, I'll give you their number.)

I'll get caught by the CIA. DO NOT WANT.

Whip up some Ammonium Nitrate.

ammonium nitrate blows up in your face

Call 911.
