To answer the OP's thread question. Maybe. I say that because if it were a 25 year old male hitting on a 17 year old (kinda creepy) but that'd be more socially acceptable than a 17 year old boy dating a 25 year old woman. For starters, the 25 year old female is already out of college (while you've yet to go) and it's just different for a myriad of reasons which have been adequately laid out here. Just date 15 - 19 year old's for now bro. Leave the older women to older guys. You probably wouldn't know what to do with a full figured emotionally/mentally developed woman like that anyway. j/k with a hint of seriousness. |

Things are not as they seem
ok, then here's a question - could a 21 year old date a 29 year old woman? please say yes. |
|
Actually, in some states, (like Alaska,) I could date a 44 year old and consumate our relationship. [I'm 17.] |

Paul is Dead
I don't think he's asking if it's legal or not as much as if it is concievable. And personally, I think it's far more likely for a 29 year old to date a 21 year old than a 25 to a 17 year old... |

When I was 20 I dated a 29 year old. Yeah I was a woman dating an older man and that's much more common than the other way around, but it could definitely work the other way as well. I have a few female friends who date considerably younger guys. |

woohoo older women are awesome, i'm so sick of college girls and their shenanigans. |

Do you people seriously care what others think you could get away with, age-wise? Just go for it. What's the worst that'll happen? I think OP did the right thing by just going for it. |

Well, here's the thing: |

Ugh, I forget I have to overexplain everything around here lest I get called a perv. Jeez guys, I don't know how old any of you are, but when you get a little older you realize most things like these aren't really that big a deal... |

Erm, wrong. My second cousin dated and eventually became engaged to someone who was five years younger than herself. And that's just one example. |
