Those who complain about it taking a long time to read an analogue watch must be semi-retarded. I couldn't tell time on a clockface until maybe... grade three.

I really like the Nixon, Adam, I actually saw one of those in the mall yesterday and am considering getting one. But since you have one I might have to get a different one!

Invader, those watches are badass, too.

Yes...because people's mental capabilities have always been determined by how long it takes them to tell time on analogue clocks. Yep...those who prefer the simple convenience of being able to know what time it is at first glance are doomed to a life of mental incapacity...or semi-incapacity, as you describe. I guess if you're semi-retarded, that's close enough.

Hey, I'm glad you see it my way.

Are you going to complain about analogues too?

Thanks man, I had to take it to get one of the batteries replaced yesterday, it has to be sent to France to be done

I have a few clocks which are cool, I think you've seen some of them, the one with the fallen numbers, the salvador Dali - I'm always on the hunt for others too

I'm a bit different though. I'm just fascinated with analogue watches, and I'm a bit picky about which ones I like. However, when a watch does catch my eye...it REALLY catches my eye. It's like pure beauty to me.
I'm analogue all the way too. Unless it's binary LOL

Here's a picture of mine. The Pulsar P2, the first mass produced digital watch.
Supposedly concieved by Stanley Kubrick for 2001 a space odessey.
Also worn by Roger Moore in Live and let Die.

Nearly as old as I am. Made in 1973.

I just bought a new cheapo at Wal-Mart yesterday, went with an analog that also has a digital time/stopwatch/date display. It's got a nice padded band, too. Rather cool for $13...

When I get some spare cash, though, I'm going to get a nice rugged watch that will stand up to more and actually be a good piece of equipment.
