Who can find the monitor? Is that a typewriter?

      Another fact:

The first analog computer that filled about 2-3 rooms had the same computing power as one of those cards you get that tingle a little tune.

Hey, I've used computers with a teletype interface like that one. I still have not figured out what the steering wheel is for though.

You know what, you should be ashamed! There are some poor college students that I know would love to have a computer so you shouldn't complain!

Nah, just kidding. That wouldn't fit throught the door of my dormitory. And it's ugly! I mean, look at the color scheme!

I would much rather have something that allows you to eat 4 times more, yet have a faster metabolism and have it be as if u just ate one serving

      P.S. Hoverboards....can't wait
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

go to stalkers link, it says the whole thing is a mockup.

But computers really did look like that 50 years ago. minus the steering wheel.

Bravo, Stalker! But still, the picture's funny And personally, I like to eat, so something that would allow me to eat as much or more and have a higher metabolism would be nice!

Why is everyone so surprised? My comp looks exactly like that. It's so convenient having all your electricity, gas, and water temperature meters right there, along with about 50 kinds of thermometers and compasses. It's a bit of a strain on the neck to have to look up at the little screen though.

You guys are so clueless. That wheel opens a valve to vent coolant for the integrated atomic pile, the only power source strong enough to allow a flummoxing forty-three operations per second

You could be onto something there. That old computer was based on tubes. That means tons of heat. The wheel could manage the cooling system....
