      Calculator Help...

I recently purchased the TI-84+ SE Calculator. I downloaded TI Connect and I then plugged the calculator into the computer using the USB link cable that came with it. When it is detecting the device it can't find it even though i plugged it into the comuter securely and it's turned on.

Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

      Thanks,

      ~Haz

Did it come with any software? My TI-89 came with some screen-print and programming software, and I believe I had to install it before my calculator could interface with the computer. Of course, that was about 5 years ago, but it may still be the case.

Um. You need to use the software to send shit to it. You cant find it in 'your computer' and drag shit into it like your average USB device.

      K. Print out these instructions and follow.

      1) Unplug cables from the calculator, so it's all portable.
      2) Place it on a white sheet of card, approx. 125x130 cm in size.
      3) Place the calculator and card onto the floor. Make sure the calculator is centered on the white card.
      4) Repeatedly stamp on your calculator.
      5) Wrap up the card with the calculator shards in and place into the bin.
      6) Announce to your father quite proudly you have just destroyed your christmas present.
      7) Prepare for a decent beating.
