I HATE grammer nazi. They do nothing but judge peopel and think the are something because they corect your spelling. Dont they have any thing better to do than to corect peoples spelling on a message board. They need to get a life.

Maybe you should learn to take a joke There's nothing wrong with a spelling error or grammar mistake once in a while, but sometimes its just gets to a point when posts are annoying to read, and then I guess i jokingly said something about it a couple of times, but i guess you could go and join the anti grammar club now, heh.

Well, I hate the opposite: those who judge you for using good grammar, too. I'm not good at my grammar, especially since English isn't my first language and I'm still struggling to figure out how to figure out the proper use of some punctuation marks.

I agree with CT. Some people's posts are just annoying as hell to read because they are barely legible. For those where english is not their first language I can usually overlook a few errors but after a while it gets to a point where I'm like, screw this...and don't even bother reading the rest of their post. If you dont like the post then you really dont have to read it. I have the right to post what ever I want and how ever I want it. If you dont like it then you can guest shut the fuck up and go on to another thread. It is even more anoning yo deal with "it is spelled ......." Do you really think that I care what you people think. What will spelling good posible do, it wont effect me. Any ways dont think that I cant read good because I cant spell. I read at a 11th grade leval, I am in 9th. Just so you know I have dislexia and it is hard for me to spell, but I still have a 3.8, am in band, a mamber of the NFL (nationol forensic leage) speech, and the acidemic olipiesce, and no I am NOT in any speical classes. This goes maily to CT, I hate he/her.

Not because people keep correcting you, but because you'll have a more fruitful life and more fruitful relationships with people...that is when you learn how to communicate with them.

Spelling nazis suck. At least, those who make a post to say something like 'OMG you spelled antidioxineuronicite wrong,' or 'That comma shouldnt go there harhar.' I have met some people like that on other sites, it really doesnt make them look superior, just... geeky The only kind of people who agree with those types of spelling nazis are other geeks and/or people who enjoy causing you grief. Unfortunately, the internet is infamous for harbouring those kinds of people. When CT&co does it, it pisses me off slightly. But not in an angry way, just sort of a joking 'You bastard ' bantering way. If they're joking, take it lightly. If they're serious, just ignore them. Chances are that someone else will just think the nazi is a geek too. Unless the nazi had good reason to point out your bad grammar because the sentance was illegible (sp.?) or unless they are also a geek, who finds amusement in peoples minor grammatical mistakes. Do you really care what idiots like that think of you? Meh, my grammar is not perfect, I dont make an attempt to. I h8 ppl tht tlk liek dis bcos it annys me. some of us are hardly geeks, but instead have a rather profound appreciation and respect for the language. in my mind, it's like one's country, and most esp. the flag that represents that country. anyway, i keep my grammar statements in the GRAMMAR LESSONS thread. that way, no one has to take offense to any of them because they can't be interpreted or identified as an attack on any one person.

This topic is funny in a sad kind of way. Of course I'm going to be hypocritical and say that I have no problem with one or two spelling/grammar mistakes in a post, I mean I make them myself. But when it is every other word it does get annoying to read.
