Hey. I´m watching alot of anime, and struggle alot to keep up with the fast pace at wich the subtitles are shown. I´ve looked around the internet to get some tips on how to read faster, and got quite alot of good tips there. But I´m still having some difficulties. I´ve tried different ways of reading, such as:

reading word by word out loud in my head ( slow, but more comprehension)

reading groups of words at time, hopping forward through the text. ( faster, but often miss words and therefore don´t understand the sentence.)

reading groups of words at a constant pace. (same there)


I guess most of you simply READ the subtitles without thinking much about it, but if anyone has some experience then please share!
