should I get a new phone?

I've had it for like 3 or 4 years. it doesn't have internet (well, you can hardly call it internet), or anything, though it does have an alright camera.

and now it's about to fall in half.

I'm not one to run out and buy all the fanciest newest phones (obviously), I'm ok with a phone that does what phones are supposed to do: make and receive phone calls.

although I have started texting (

) and my phone isn't good for that, it doesn't have parenthesis, slashes, underscore, it doesn't even have asterisks. also if I try to send a long text, sometimes it will say it has sent but it hasn't because (I guess?) the message was too long, but it doesn't even say what the limit is so I have so guess, and sometimes type a whole message again.

here are my requirements for a new phone: must make/receive calls, must have every text symbol, must send texts the length of War and Peace, and I'd like one with a camera because they come in handy. oh and no touch screens. I can't work those for shit.

I have alltel which I guess is verison now. any suggestions?

Are you looking for a good sturdy phone, dialpad, flip, camera, or one with a keyboard.

I have a cheap phone myself but the one you have doesn't look too good.
You don't need to get a designer phone with a ton of features, but I'd get a new one, especially if you use it regularly.
