      sensitive area on your back.

okay, there is this area on your back (or there might be a few different places but anyway) if you put pressure on it, it feels really weird. it's not really easy to describe, but it's really awesome and it makes you feel good all over. I'm wondering if any of you have felt that, or even know what I'm talking about?

you can reach it pretty well, but you don't get the feeling very much..it's way more intense if someone else does it. it's like...between your spine and shouler blade. +shudder+

Great massage techniques utilize this area.

Since there are so many intersecting muscles and, most importantly, the lymphatic system, massaging this area release a lot of tension. Considering it's the cervical section, the 3rd and 4th vertebrae, much precipitating relaxtion occurrs when massaged. May not feel as well when you do it yourself because of how you must stretch your trapezius and associated muscles to reach it. Also, the very fundamentals of why you can't tickle yourself (proprioception) is another reason it feels nicer.

Females will have a more significant stimulation from this area (and touch in general) because of oxytocin. Oxytocin is a polypeptide hormone released from the pituitary gland (after generated in the hypothalamus) which stimulates muscle contraction and also plays a role with orgasms. Oxytocin is generated in males but mostly serves just to help pass sperm during ejaculation.

      Great Secret-Massage Technique:

This is something you must get someone to do to you... you won't be able to do it to yourself.

Start at the bottom of the spinal cord. At either sid of the cord, bunch up your fingers close together and randomly press the muscles in towards the spine. This entire technique works like this - as though your are typing on the muscles. After about 30 seconds of "typing" on the bottom of the spine, start on the spine and "type" your way up. Make sure to take your time (but don't go too slow) and apply a little pressure with each finger. Once up at the neck, "type" each hand down the sides of the neck (sternocleidomastoid) and top of shoulders (trapezius/deltoid). Done properly, this technique stimulates the entire lymphatic system release and the individual receiving this amazing technique should feel a very vigorating "tingling" feeling.

You can do this technique to yourself along the shoulders and neck. Although, it just doesn't match up to the typing technique.

Hope I have been enlightening.... or tingling.

I know someone who started to feel nausea when getting a massage, so I'm sure the opposite can be true as well - certain areas do certain things.

Massages feel great, but they also release toxins stored in your muscles, so while it's a good thing to get them out, it's also a good thing to flush them out of your body completely - DRINK WATER!

This is true as well. Of course, if you apply pressure to a very stressed, stretched, or injured muscle, it will only further irritate. Once prostaglandins are being released from the muscles (when it is injured), massaging is not entirely recommended.... you can't heal cuts or bruises by rubbing them.

Also, there are several places on the body which cause irritation and uncomfortable reactions when pressure is applied.

One such method I will explain. However, I should warn, this technique usually causes the individual to spasm and laugh or to retaliate violently.

To utilize this pressure point, you will need to use the hand opposite the person you are facing (your right hand to ltheir eft side, your left hand to their right side). You'll get what I mean in a moment. Simply situate your thumb near the bottom of the person ribcage (male or female) and clasp all finger on their side. Make sure that your fingers are spread. Apply pressure and attempt to draw your thumb slightly in and upward into the ribcage. With the appropriate amount of pressure, this technique typically causes a good laugh or a slap. Apply too much pressure (especially if you can reach further behind the person) and you may cause severe muscle spasms and breathing disruption. However, it's unlikely to cause too much damage with this technique. Usually I just use this technique to annoy someone (and it works very effectively).

I believe this is a martial arts move, no? Pressure points?

Not to drift off from massage into sex (though easy to do) but I heard from a massage therapist friend of mine that if she ever notices a guy starting to get excited (down under), there are spots that can instantly calm him down and avoid embarassement - I think one spot is in the foot somewhere.

There is a spot RIGHT at the bottom of my back and just before you get to the butt that, when pressure is applied here it feels AMAZING. I used to make my ex-bf rub there for like an hour when we would be lying in bed. I would also make him play with my hair for hours too. The way to get to my heart is through my head. I'm like a dog...you start playing with my hair/massaging my scalp...my eyes slowly close, my head drops...I'm out! I met this gay guy at a club on Saturday night and he was like, "omg I love your hair, it's so beautiful!" This is a great technique guys...he puts his hand up under my hair at the base of my neck and starts massaging my scalp. Holy shit I was in heaven.

I agree...that was a very popular area for my ex as well and the few times that I have had someone massage that area on myself, I was in ecstasy.

Ironically, that is also the only spot that I am ticklish.

actually, I don't think any posts were deleted. if they were, then I never even saw them. which I doubt.
I certainly didn't delete anything, I merely suggested that Ophelia keep her stupid sexual jokes to herself.

Actually some posts were deleted, but it was just some banter between CT and Kaniaz, but I don't know who deleted them.

      Tis a mystery indeed....

Je acuse Unknown Dreamer!!!! Just think about it....she's been very silent and absent lately, so she probably thought she could get away with it cause no one would suspect her. Also, her name does sound rather mysterious and incriminating, doesn't it? Who deleted the posts? The answer is unknown....

I rest my case....and my uncanny ability to find the truth hidden within the shades of...erm....stuff that isn't well lit!!!!
